Motion graphics came later, mostly out of curiosity. I wanted to see what would happen if illustrations didn’t just sit there but moved with intention. Once I started working with Adobe Animate and After Effects, I realized how much motion relies on timing rather than effects.
A background in music definitely helped here, even if I didn’t realize it at first. Motion has rhythm. Pauses matter. Too fast feels chaotic, too slow feels awkward. I treat animation a bit like arranging a song; everything needs to flow naturally.
Now, motion graphics are one of my favorite ways to tell a story. I focus on clarity and feeling rather than overloading visuals. If it feels smooth and easy to follow, I know it’s working.
